The one thing other generators get wrong
The seamless tile is not the sett.
A sett is the run of threads you write down. The seamless tile is the smallest block that can be laid edge to edge without the weave breaking — and the two are only the same number by accident.
Tile a 2/2 twill at the sett length and the diagonal jumps at every seam. It is the kind of fault that survives a screen and shows up on the cloth.
The Sett Designer works this out for you, shows the tile alongside the sett, and offers the two extra threads that collapse it back to one repeat.

K4 B24 K2 W6the way the trade writes it. The stripe list, the mirror axes and the cloth all read from the same sett — edit any of them and the others follow. - Real weave structure
- Plain, 2/2, 3/1 and 2/1 twill, basket and herringbone, in S or Z. The interlacement is drawn thread by thread, so a twill diagonal runs the way it would on a loom.
- Honest repeats
- The seamless tile is computed from the sett and the weave repeat, not guessed. When they disagree the tool says so and offers to pad the sett.
- Files a mill can use
- PNG at any scale, SVG as a real vector repeat, and a spec sheet PDF carrying the thread count, the tile size and the finished cloth dimensions at your chosen density.
- Colour you can specify
- Every colour is matched against our own 48-shade textile library with CIEDE2000 and reported with its ΔE, so you know whether a match is a match or a compromise.
- Nothing leaves your browser
- The design lives in the URL. Share a link and you have shared the sett itself — there is no upload, no account and no file sitting on our disk.
